Individual coverage
For employees choosing individual coverage, Royal Care takes care of 100% of the premium, making all three available plans completely free. The specific plan you receive is determined by the number of hours you worked in the previous month.
Coverage that includes your children
If you opt for coverage that includes your children, you will be responsible for a portion of the monthly premium, with the cost varying depending on the plan you choose.

Melody Benefits Card
The Melody Benefits Card designed to reward you for every hour you work.
For every hour you put in, $1.94 is added to your card, giving you extra financial flexibility throughout the year. Whether it’s transportation, childcare, or medical expenses, the Melody Benefits Card can help cover these essential costs.
How you can use your card?
- Transportation: Up to $150 per month for expenses like trains, subways, buses, van-pools, ferry passes, or parking near work.
- Cellphone Bill: Cover up to $150 of your monthly bill.
- Dependent Care: Payments for legal babysitting or daycare services.
- Medical Expenses: Use it for doctor visits, lab bills, medical supplies, and diagnostic devices.
- Dental & Vision: Unlimited visits to the dentist and eye doctor.
Plus, if you’ve been dreaming of a getaway but can’t make it happen this year, don’t worry! You can save up to 24 hours of unused vacation time and cash them in next year.
Contribute to an EBHRA
Caregivers can pay out of pocket for eligible health-related expenses and get reimbursed by Melody. With the Melody Benefit Card, you can put up to $1,800 per year into an EBHRA to cover:
- Health & Medical Care: Up to $150 per month for expenses like trains, subways, buses, van-pools, ferry passes, or parking near work
- Personal & Family Care: Cover up to $150 of your monthly bill.
